On Thursday, 16th July 2026, our Primary pupils at TicTime Junior School embarked on an exciting and educational trip to the Source of the Nile in Jinja, one of Uganda’s most famous natural and tourist attractions.
The visit provided our pupils with a wonderful opportunity to move beyond the classroom and experience learning first-hand. Through this educational tour, the pupils were able to explore the beauty and significance of the Nile while gaining a deeper appreciation of Uganda’s natural heritage.
The trip was not only about sightseeing but also about learning, discovery, and creating memorable experiences. Our pupils had the opportunity to observe the surroundings, learn more about the importance of the Nile, and appreciate its role in Uganda’s history, environment, tourism, and communities.
Educational trips like this help our learners connect classroom knowledge with real-life experiences. They encourage curiosity, teamwork, observation, and a spirit of exploration, making learning more engaging and meaningful.
The pupils enjoyed the experience immensely, creating wonderful memories with their friends and teachers. The visit also gave them an opportunity to interact, share experiences, and enjoy learning in a different environment outside the classroom.
At TicTime Junior School, we believe that education extends beyond the classroom. We are committed to providing our learners with opportunities that nurture academic excellence, character, creativity, confidence, and practical understanding of the world around them.
The visit to the Source of the Nile was truly a memorable experience for our Primary pupils, and we look forward to many more educational adventures that inspire our learners to Lead to Excel, Excel to Lead.
